Edit a query alert

When you have created your own queries and set up alerts based on them, you can still edit the query definition. Note that you can only edit alert queries that are grouped under the main category My Alerts.

To edit a query that feeds an alert:

  1. Go to Administration → Alerts configuration → Alert subscriptions.
  2. Select the query you want to edit and click the ellipsis icon and Select Edit.

    Select the My Alerts category in the Alerts Filter to quickly filter only the alerts in the My Alerts category.

  3. The Edit Alert Definition window appears.



  4. You can edit several fields in this window as needed. To edit the query definition, select Edit above the query text box. The query window opens.
  5. Make the desired changes to your query. Select Additional Tools → Set this Query in Alert to save the query definition in the alert.
