This chart consists of a series of upright rectangles whose area is proportional to the frequency of the variable. It looks similar to a bar graph but uses only one variable. The column widths are often equal but might vary reflecting the frequency density of the variable instead of the simple frequency.
This chart requires you to select three fields:

You can drag more than one column to the Values field.
Creating a histogram
Go to Data Search and open the required table.
Perform the required operations to get the data you want to use in the chart.
- Select Additional tools → Charts → Plots → Histogram from the query toolbar.
Click and drag the column headers to the corresponding fields.
- The histogram is displayed.
