Edit the column layout

When you access a data table selecting its tag elements, you can limit the columns you want to work with before opening the table. You can also specify the columns you want to display in the table in the query window itself.

The Search column layout option on the toolbar comes in handy when you are querying a data table that contains a great amount of information and you need to work only with a specific set of columns. Using this option, you can easily look for columns using the search box in the window and select only the ones you need to work with.

The Search column layout icon in the toolbar turns green when you pick specific columns when running a search or when you hide columns in the data table itself.

You can also hide/show columns and perform other operations such as changing the default column layout of a table selecting the Column operations icon on the toolbar.
