Data upload

While relays are set up to establish connections from live data sources to Devo, there is also a tool for uploading static data files from either Dropbox or from your local computer. Go to Data upload in the Devo navigation panel to upload your files.

Learn in no more than 3 minutes how to send to Devo the data stored in local files or in Dropbox folders.

Uploading data files

  1. Go to Data upload in the navigation panel.
  2. Select either Dropbox or Local files.

    • If you select Dropbox, you will be prompted to grant Devo access to your Dropbox files, then log into Dropbox. Navigate to the folder and select the file you want to upload.

    • If you select Local files, you can either drag and drop the file or navigate to the necessary folder and select it for upload.

  3. When you have selected the file, click the Upload File button. A configuration page appears.

This page contains several fields that allow you to tag the table in Devo and indicate how to parse the data in the file.

  4. Click the Confirm Settings button. If there were any errors when parsing the file, you will be notified.

When the file has been uploaded, notifications will be published in the Notifications area as seen below:

To access the table in Devo and work with the new data, go to Data search.
