Read data from keyboard

This configuration will send an event to Devo each time a user types something using the keyboard and then presses Enter.

In this example, Logstash reads from the keyboard (the variable is stdin for "standard input") and sends the data to Devo using syslog over TCP. Security is enabled through the use of the authentication certificates.
