Data Management

Go to Administration → Data Management to configure aggregation tasks, injections, permalinks and API/OData.

Aggregation tasks

Each dashboard data source creates an aggregation task that can be used to provide data to Devo applications or dashboards. In this tab, you can see all the aggregation tasks created and activate or deactivate them.

  1. Refresh the data displayed.
  2. Click the screen icon to show only aggregation tasks used in dashboards. Select the dots icon to see only aggregation tasks used in applications.
  3. Choose a time period to filter the content by creation date.
  4. Use the search box to look for aggregation tasks. Click the arrow to search by TagOwner, or Name).
  5. The Status column shows if the task is active (green) or inactive (red). If the icon is yellow, it indicates the aggregation task is being removed, started or stopped.
  6. Click the ellipsis icon at the right of a row to access the aggregation task details. The options available are:
    • More info - Check and edit the aggregation tasks details. Select Update to apply your changes and Rebuild to restart the aggregation task from the date initially set.
    • Run / Stop - Run or stop the aggregation task.
    • Delete - Delete the aggregation task, thus removing all the data generated. You must stop an aggregation task before deleting it.

Injections

Injections allow you to work with specific sets of information by reinjecting data from your own tables to a my.app table. In the Injections tab you can manage any data injection that has been previously done. 

  1. Refresh the data displayed.
  2. Choose a time period to filter the content by creation date.
  3. Use the search box to look for injections. Click the arrow to choose the search criterion (Name, User, Source table, Target table).
  4. The Status column shows if the injection is active (green) or inactive (red).
  5. Click the ellipsis icon at the right of a row to access the injection details. The options available are:
    • More info - Check and edit the injection details. Select Update to apply your changes.
    • Run / Stop - Run or stop the injection. When you stop an injection, data will stop coming from the source table. Run it again and the table will start receiving data from that moment.
    • Delete - Delete the injection. You must stop an injection before deleting it.

Permalinks are URL links that provide direct access to shared dashboards. Check all the created permalinks in the Permalink tab. 

  1. Use the User's permalinks / Domain's permalinks toggle button to display only the permalinks created by you or all the permalinks in your domain.
  2. Refresh the data displayed.
  3. Click the ellipsis icon at the right of a row to access the permalink details. The options available are:

    • More info - Check the permalink details.
    • Delete - Delete the permalink. The shared link will become obsolete.

API OData

All the API feeds that have been created in your domain are listed in the Api/OData tab.

  1. Refresh the data displayed.
  2. Filter the content by their status (AllDisabled or Enabled).
  3. Choose a time period to filter the content by creation date.
  4. Use the search box to look for API feeds. Click the arrow to choose the search criterion (TagsTypeNameAuth. TypeOwnerQuery ID or Token).
  5. The Status column shows if the API feed is enabled (green) or disabled (red).
  6. Click the ellipsis icon at the right of a row to access the API feed details. The options available are:
    • More info - Check and edit the API feed details. Select Update to apply your changes.
    • Enable / Disable - Enable or disable the API feed.
    • Delete - Delete the API feed.
