Adds a new column that rounds the values of a numeric field, returning the largest previous integer numbers.
Use Ceiling (ceil) if you want to get the smallest following integers.
How does it work in the search window?
Select Create column in the search window toolbar, then select the Ceiling operation. You need to specify one argument:
|Number to round (mandatory)||integer, float|
The data type of the values in the new column is integer or float, depending on the selected input data.
my.lookuplist.expenses table, we want to round down all the numbers in the lastyearBudget column. To do it, we will create a new column using the Floor operation.
The arguments needed to create the new column are:
- Number to round - lastyearBudget column
Click Create column and you will see the following result:
How does it work in LINQ?
Use the operator
