Adds a new column that rounds the given number to the nearest integer or, if indicated, to a specified number of decimal places.
How does it work in the search window?
Select Create column in the search window toolbar, then select the Rounding operation. You need to specify at least one argument:
|Number to round (mandatory)||integer, float|
The data type of the values in the new column is integer or float, depending on the selected input data.
my.lookuplist.expenses table, we want to round the values in the spent column of our table to one decimal place. To do it, we will create a new column using the Rounding operation.
The arguments needed to create the new column are:
- Number to round - spent column
- Decimal precision - Click the pencil icon and enter 1
