IPv4 time to live (ip4ttl)

Description

Returns the time to live (TTL) value in seconds of a specified IPv4 datagram (packet data type).

How does it work in the search window?

Select Create column in the search window toolbar, then select the IPv4 time to live operation. You need to specify one argument:

ArgumentData type
Packet (mandatory)
packet

The data type of the values in the new column is integer.

How does it work in LINQ?

Use the operator select... as...  and add the operation syntax to create the new column. This is the syntax for the IPv4 time to live operation:

  • ip4ttl(packet)
