All Devo users have the ability to share their queries with all other users in a domain, or with specific users. In the Social Intelligence area of the navigation pane, you can see all shared queries and can filter or search them by time period, query category, user, domain and tags.
Each shared query shows the user who published it and his/her domain, the category it belongs to and the sharing time. You can add comments to the queries and access them clicking Open.
Note that the data associated with the shared queries will not be visible to other users, only its definition and associated intelligence.
Here's how to share your queries from the query window:
After querying the data, select Additional tools → Query Info → Share Query in the query window toolbar. The Query Sharing window opens.
The following table describes the fields in the window:
Name Enter a name for the query. Description Enter a description of the query. Path / Complete Tree Choose Path to share only the current query path or Complete Tree to share all the queries performed in the search. Learn more about query paths here. Category Select the category of the query. Share with
Choose the sharing level:
- Public - Shares the query with all Devo users, regardless of domain or company.
- Domain - Select the domain with which you want to share the query. All users in this domain will be able to access the query.
- User - Enter the email address of a specific user.
Tags Add tags to easily find the query in the Social Intelligence area.
- Click Share. The query will appear in the Social Intelligence area.
Filter shared queries
You can filter the shared queries in the Social Intelligence area using the controls in the Filter items by bar:
Filter the queries published by time using the options in the drop-down list (Today, Week, Month, Year or All).
Filter the queries published by category selecting the corresponding icons (Marketing, Monitoring, Compliance, Security, Others or All). You can select more than one filter at the same time.
Look for specific queries by entering their Tag, User, Domain or Name in the search box.
