Load query data into Excel using the Devo Connector add-in
The Devo Connector add-in for Excel allows users to load query data from Devo in an Excel sheet for easy access and analysis. You can also limit the query rows you want to see, save your favorite queries and access them whenever you need.
Installing the Devo Connector add-in
To install the Devo Connector add-in, open Excel and click Insert → Get Add-ins, then type Devo in the search box. The Devo Connector add-in will appear. Select the Add button next to it.
Once installed, the Devo Connector add-in will appear in the Excel Home tab.
Using the Devo Connector add-in
Click the Get Data icon and a panel will appear at the left of your Excel sheet. These are the fields you must fill in:
Devo Cloud | Choose the Devo cloud corresponding to your region. After selecting your cloud, you can click Devo Login to access your corresponding region URL and log into the app. |

Token | Enter a security token to authenticate your request. Admin users can generate tokens in their Devo domains going to Administration → Credentials → Authentication Tokens. When you generate your token, you must select Queries with API v2 or Queries with Api v2 and task/jobs administrator in the Actions Allowed field. Query | The query from which you want to get data. Keep in mind that you can limit the number of events to be shown by adding

Preset dates | Select a relative preset date to limit your query data. If you select a preset date, the From and To fields will be automatically filled with the corresponding values. |
From | Starting date of your query time range. |
To | Ending date of your query time range. |
No limit | By default, a maximum of 2,000 events is loaded in your Excel sheet. Check this box if you want to remove this limit. |
Name | Enter a name for the query. You can save queries for later access, so this will be the name of the saved query. |
Description | Short description of the query. |
After entering all the necessary information, click Run to execute the query and see the records in your Excel sheet. Click Save to save the query and accessing it whenever you need it. You can access all your saved queries clicking the Load button. Simply click the required query to open it, or select the X button next to it to delete it.
