Using inputs

After creating your Activeboard and populating it with widgets to graphically display your data for analysis, you might find yourself in a situation where you need to consider several variables for different potential outcomes. Activeboard inputs offer a sophisticated solution to avoid multiple replications of your widgets, maximizing your possibilities while optimizing your resources. 

Inputs are Activeboard elements that let you substitute a specific part of a widget's query with the value or values specified in the inputs. This is very useful when filtering data to easily display different data sets without constantly modifying the queries of the widgets.
