## What permissions do I need?

Users with the *Activeboards (manage)* or the *User resources* permissions can create new Activeboards (more about permissions [here](https://docs.devo.com/space/latest/94763681)). Having only the *View* level of the *Activeboards* permission does not allow you to create new Activeboards.

## Creating your Activeboard

> ℹ️ **No existing Activeboards**

> ℹ️ After accessing the **Activeboards** section, if you do not have an Activeboard in your domain, you can create one by clicking on the **New Activeboard** button from the Activeboard Manager window. 
> ℹ️ 
> ℹ️ Enter the required *Title* and *Description*, then* *select **Create.**

> Click the **+** icon at the top left of the Activeboard area.

> - Access the **Session manager** by clicking on the current Activeboard name and then click on **New Activeboard**.

> Enter a *Title* and an optional *Description *for the new Activeboard.

## Finding your Activeboard

The new Activeboard will appear in the **[Activeboard manager](https://devodocs.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/latest/pages/568655873)***** ***(select the list icon at the top left corner to access it) and in the **[Session manager](https://devodocs.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/latest/pages/567803906)** (click the current Activeboard name).

## Populating your Activeboard

You can now proceed to create widgets and inputs in your Activeboard and feed them with data.
